Porto Rosso
The Porto Rosso nautical centre and restaurant is situated in the bay of the same name (Portorus, Skrivena Luka). In the western part of the bay, there is a natural shelter that offers an ideal mooring for the yachtsmen.The Porto Rosso Restaurant, a few meters from the sea, in the green of pines and olive trees, you may enjoy the rich, local gastronomy based upon the ecologically grown agriculture of the very Lastovo island - a natural park.
In front of the restaurant, there is a pontoon mooring harbour with about 18 mooring places and the sea depth ranging from 1.5 to 7 meters. Every mooring is provided with electricity and drinking water. The yachtsmen are provided with superbly equipped sanitary facilities with showers (hot water) and laundry (two laundry machines, drier, ironing, etc.).
The sea around the moorings is fine for swimming. The harbour is 6.5 km far from Lastovo town. Visitors may tour the island by public transportation (van) or taxi, or may rent a motorcycle or a car. At the entrance to the bay is lighthouse Struga the oldest and among the most beautiful lighthouses in this part of the Adriatic, from the top of which spreads a magnificent view.
